My childhood in the Amazon Rainforest

I grew up in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest with my parents and siblings, where my father served as a physician in the Brazilian Navy. We lived in a remote military camp called Vila Buriti, just two hours by car from the nearest town. In urgent situations, we had access to a Marine boat and helicopters. Life was good and deeply shaped by the beauty of our natural surroundings. The Navy supported local Indigenous communities with medical care and food, and that spirit of service became a core part of who I am.

As a child, I developed a deep love for nature, fresh fruit, and close to the Amazon River, among native animals. After 14 years, living in this environment, my father was transferred to Brasília, the capital of Brazil. There, I attended a military school and took my first technology class with a teacher named Angelica Terezinha. She inspired me deeply and sparked a dream in me—to one day become an IT professor.

I later overcame dyslexia—a learning challenge I faced—through my love of art at Fine Arts School and a growing passion for technology, I attended the University, plus 3 Master's. This journey eventually led me to move to Canada with my family, where I became an IT professor at Conestoga College and a respected leader in the tech industry.

Today, I run my own startup, 4VR Canada 4vr.ca, which specializes in Virtual Reality for Education and offers an immersive learning platform. I also share Scripture-inspired art and design through my Instagram page, @4jesus.art.

I live with a deep sense of purpose. I've been joyfully married to my husband Edrlon for 26 wonderful years. We have two amazing children, Enri and Emmie, a wonderful son-in-law, Kade, and a beautiful grandson, Jonathan. I am a woman who loves Jesus and is passionate about helping people through the power of art, education, and technology.
