Creating Solutions through Ul/UX Design
Professor at Conestoga College in Kitchener/Waterloo, I have created and helped launch multiple design products for the past 14+ years in UI/UX design with human-computer interaction (HCI), solid experience in usability testing and QA testing, strong visual practices, Wireframes and Prototypes, Axure, user flows, Information Architect, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite CS6. Since 2015 I included Anthropological studies, it has enabled me to reach out to users abroad, their needs, culture, diversity to build useful products, creating innovation solutions through UI/UX and Design Thinking.
Although UI/UX design has become my main area of expertise, I find myself comfortable in any area of design. My introduction to the visual world was through Visual Design at Fine Arts School; creating paintings, drawings and Illustration. As a lover of technology and people, I also enjoy build design products, especially human-computer interaction. My specific skills are outlined below:
1. Understanding the Project’s Concept. The strategy underpinning a UX project will shape the goals of the project. In this step, it's important to understand the whole inicial process. Able to work on Design Sprint. Design Sprint is a five-day process for answering critical business questions through design, prototyping, and testing ideas, mostly with users.
2. Brainstorming & Sketching. From the first meeting, I sketch wireframes, user flows diagram using by my hands, after continue using Axure to build simple or rich prototypes with dynamic content, conditional flow, animations, and data-driven interactions.
3. Prototyping. It is essential for resolving usability issues before launch, it can also reveal areas that need improvement before sinking lots of time and money into the final product, using AXURE.
